The Summer Chapel of Ease

The Church of the Transfiguration, or the “Chapel of Ease,” is the only church of its kind under the auspices of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut. Services are held every Sunday during the summer months from May through September.

Also known as “The Bishop’s Chapel,” because we have no presiding clergy, the church is host to a variety of priests and bishops prominent in the Episcopal Church.

While we are not able to begin our 126th summer of worship in person, we are exploring holding services on the lawn beginning in July.  Updates to follow here and in the Norfolk Now.
